4 P5 openings filled - still no job.

Baylor passed too. Only Oregon left.

I am telling you, sitting around like a hero in a studio being able to second guess all the rest of these guys and not drive around to God-forsaken parts to beg 18 year old kids to come to your school has a TON of appeal. I bet he replaces Corso on Game Day. Think about it... "Mad Hatter"? Head gear picks??

if the Ducks were smart they would hire Joe Moorhead.

SEC network would make sense as well.

I wouldnt be surprised to see him go the Solich route. Find a Group of 5 school where he can put together a solid program with no pressure.

If he truly just loves the game and being around football, sure.

I am curious what happens when the NFL carousel starts now. I think Jacksonville will be open. San Fran, San Diego, Chicago, Cleveland, Buffalo, New York Jets, could all be looking. Wonder who gets poached from the NCAA

Harbaugh is the only college coach i can see teams looking at. There is no one else that i could see jumping.

Also, i highly doubt Cleveland moves on from Hue. They would be dumb to. Im hoping Cincy fires Marvin, but it wont happen.

If I had to guess, I'd say Fleck to Cincy and Miles to Houston. Oregon will pull from a higher shelf.

Agree regarding Oregon. Maybe on Fleck. I just dont see Miles to Houston. I could be wrong.

If I'm Miles I take the Houston job and adopt the style of offense they've been running. With their success and his name he will be able to recruit at a high level. That could be a scary good match.

Oregon filled. No more p5 openings yet Miles is still unemployed.

Oregon isn't the destination people were making it out to be. Rhule even chose Baylor over Oregon.
IMO the most revealing thing from this year's coaching carousel. These Ducks landed a few ponds away from the rumors of pulling a coach from the NFL or a successful P5 program. No offense to Taggart. It's all relative.

Cincy should go after Joe Moorhead.

I want Moorhead out of PSU because he weakens PSU a bit...although keeping him means a very strong B1G East and then means a stronger B1G West through competition. Heck, you are seeing that with Purdue right now with the grapevine saying as much as $3.5 million being tagged for assistant coaches for Brohm. If that's the case, I believe that puts Purdue as the third highest assistant coaching pool in the conference and the largest in the West (behind only OSU and UM).

You are dead on it, but doesn't that job require some personality or maybe a pulse?

Kiffin to Houston. Supercoach Miles still out there.

Looks like Houston decided to promote Major Applewhite to HC. I think this was actually a good move....saw Applewhite play several times as QB for Texas, and I think he's learned enough as OC to be solid as the head coach. Time will tell, however.

Douche factor aside, i would have hired Kiffin.

Can't argue with you too much, Nat on either part.

Kiffin's previous history, though, probably did play a role...it became known (and how accurate it was is another story) that Houston reportedly wanted to be "bullish" on a buy-out clause.....of course that can cut both ways.

Kiffen has his drawbacks, but he's talented as well. He would have done well there I think.
