They've probably got 5 behind him who are just as good.
Doesn't matter where you are at. He was the top WR for a reason...likely having the best connection with their QB. It'll hurt in that Michigan is sorely lacking on offense right now and likely couldn't afford to lose a play maker against a defense that has proven to be very stingy and flies around the field.Yup, losing your 'top' WR at a school like UM just means there's another 5* waiting on the 2nd team for his shot.
Losing a top RB hurts more but there's a lot more WR on a roster than RBs.

Sadly true. Of all the positions WR is a place we have several fine players. We will be fine here. With has good as Michigan's QB has been, having the best connection with him isn't saying much.

Again, he is #1 for a reason. I'm not saying there isn't talent at the WR for Michigan...but rarely can you lose a #1 and simply not lose anything. Clemson could lose it's #1 DE and conceivably have another talented player to step in...but that player was #1 for a reason and got a number of snaps for a reason.Top receiver as in he has 1 more catch and 20 more yards than the #2 guy. Same amount of TDs.
I guess the 5* freshman, and consensus #1 receiver in the nation for the 2016 class will have to step up from here on out.
