It's the true scUM way. That's what they do. One more big loss to OSU and Harbaugh will really be feeling it.
It has long been known that Purdue has been in on Yanni as well and that he likely has a standing (but not public) offer to Purdue as well. I doubt this moves the needle much in the recruitment but it does show UM has placed him as a high value recruit.
As I said before, George is just taking his officials because he enjoys the visits much like any other teenager would...the big one that has come along is Clemson and taking an official there would likely be the one to worry about IMO.

If everything I read on Yanni is accurate he will have offers from every program in the Big Ten just like his brother probably does. So Michigan offering him now doesn't suprise or offend me. I don't know anything about the rest of the rumors. Is his girlfriend worthy of a track scholly? If so, why not offer. Everything is fair in love & war! Either way I think he stays committed to Purdue, but that is my gut talking.
Oh my what a great recruiting tool. This staff really is light years ahead of anything Purdue has ever had in that realm. Their recruiting guy deserves a hand for this one as I haven’t seen anything like this before.
