Michigan fan - would love to see Brohm stay

Thanks. Definitely it's good for BIG if he stays. I'm in California for a work conference and many had discussions today about this. Not one person thought Louisville was the better program. A lateral move at best and a worse one based on current circumstances was the common thought

Guy is a great coach and the big ten is better with guys like him in it.

I get he’s from Louisville but it’s questionable as to whether that’s a step up. I see him staying and trying the NFL at some point.
I completely agree. I literally thought he would have been an upgrade over pagano for the colts last season. Some organization will call him at some point.

Brohm said he took the Purdue job because he believed he could build a successful program here.

He didn't say he wanted to use it as a stepping stone to his next job.

The Purdue program is not yet a "successful program" this time around. What exactly would it say about Brohm's honesty and integrity if he pulled the plug before the program was considered a success?

I believe in Jeff Brohm. He is a man of honor and integrity, and I do not believe he will abandon our program before it is a resounding success.

Jeff is a Boilermaker now, and this is his program.

That’s unfortunate for you because he’ll be named our head coach in a few weeks from now.

Good luck with your search!

Thanks for your good luck wishes. We’ll need it to match what we have now. My question to you is, if Purdue qualifies for a bowl game , will CJB coach Purdue in that game?

Not sayin Brohm leaves, in fact I believe he will ultimately stay; but you have to take what all coaches say at face value..

Everything from Saban’s “I’m not going to be Alabama’s head coach.” when he was with the Dolphins to Urban Meyer saying he wasn’t leaving BGSU and then promptly taking the Utah gig.

Who would hire a coach that would come into the interview and say, “Yeah, this is cool and all but I’m bouncing out of here if X job opens up”?

Like I said, I think Brohm stays. Not based on what he said when he was hired and trying to win over the fanbase.. but because Louisville sucks

Our search is over. We have a coach.

All you can do is crap all over another program's forum because your program is a dumpster fire.

Good luck with your search. Maybe you'll find a coach that doesn't require hiring more attorneys.
