Mich/MSU Cancelled

They need wins, period. Cancelled or rescheduled games will not do them any favors. No way it's intentional.
Yes it will...it benefits them if they get to play someone who has to squeeze them in on their own schedule, or, play them when they would otherwise be off...or, have to prepare on short notice.

They benefited a year ago, and, are poised to do the same...the B1G had established that if this happened again, that teams would forfeit...and, that is exactly what should have happened, or, should happen.

I am sure that they could have played short handed. MSU played a game recently without two key players. I don’t think it’s fair to the fans to cancel. I definitely think that they should forfeit.
They absolutely should forfeit...like say, the B1G had already established that as a rule...I have no idea why they changed course on that.

Like say, Michigan benefited a year ago...of all teams, they should not be benefiting again.

And, if so/or as a result, Michigan should have to forfeit.

Michigan completely abused the process a year ago, and, are poised to do the same again.
They're in a completely different situation this year based on their record. They were 13-1 at the time last year.

Does nothing to change the fact that the conference had established a rule that said that IF this happened again this year, the school would have to forfeit, and, that is exactly what should happen.

They still benefit from the circumstances regardless of their record...it should not have happened a year ago, and it did, and, in light of that...it should not happen again this year...especially for them.

I still go back to the fact that if they need to go 6-2 down the stretch, it won't be as easy playing several games in a short amount of time. Or the games don't get replayed at all, which kills them for making the tournament. We shall see.

Mich supposedly has too many covid players.
Michigan was down 3 guys on Friday, 2 of which were cleared for today...so, they had at least 10 guys available coming into today (as, they have a guy that may have been out due to personal reasons, as was the case earlier in the week)...they would have had to have 4 guys then test positive apparently today...if so, with 5 days of quarantine protocol, then it would seem that they can't play on Tuesday.

Games for which at least 7 players (and it does not specify "scholarship players") and 1 coach are not available, if not able to be rescheduled, will be declared a "no-contest."

Teams do have the option to play even if under the threshold if they deem it safe to do so. Admittedly, I am not even sure what that means or how it could/would be determined.

Always a good explanation for each incident, but they’re the only team in the conference to repeatedly benefit from cancelling games vs. superior opponent the last few years. They played Rutgers under the same protocols…
Getting their di*k handed to them by Rutgers screwed up their plans to dodge the gauntlet of MSU, Purdue and Illinois for sure. Just break up that run of teams and incorporate them into an easier week where you aren't playing them in succession.

Intentional in my opinion. Won’t release #’s or % of roster affected. This MI team has a ton of talent and sits at #10 in B1G so far. Re-grouping with practices to get right rotations and in the mix for March madness. Where they are right now is not in the mix to make a run at the tournament. Juwan Howard was a cheater as a player on the take with $$$. He is getting in extra work to align for improving their B1G standings.
NOTICE: MI has not announced suspension of team operations. Hmmm 🤔.
If they would have done that, then I’d say they are above the board. They have not, so I’ll stay firm with my opinion. Once a cheater, always a cheater.
