I'm all for LGBT rights. I have close friends and family who are members of the LGBT community and I love them. While I think it's imperative for adolescents who are clearly LGBT to understand that they are worthy (because many suffer from depression and anxiety due to who they are), I don't think things like this are productive. The only thing things like this does is further ostracize the LGBT community. They don't need publicity. They need the community to accept them for who they are...
I know this is asking a lot from the folks who have responded here (especially guidelines because Jfc dude), but does anyone actually know what this clip is from and when? Or are you just going to take at face value what the OP…..a multi-banned admitted bigot and homophobe……linked from a hack on Twitter?

It’s a clip from a documentary from when Pete was running for president and it’s from 2019. How are you interpreting it? Never mind; you’re defending the OP , who’s totally on the up and up here. So in other words, you can’t do better. Got it.

You do realize that this clip is being used as propaganda by the folks spreading it and saying they’re trying to indoctrinate kids. This clip was from a 2019 documentary about Petes run for President, not some recruitment video.
If your bigger issue is that you think a two year old clip is political propaganda vs what the OP originally posted it for and what it’s being used for now, then i question how sincere your love really is for your family and friends. Who said it’s a bad look? You didn’t even know that clip existed until the OP posted it. You read the clippings and took off with it. He was at an lgbt center, not some elementary school. I would ask you to learn the context vs making a judgment especially in light of who posted it but your mind is clearly made up. I hope you show your friends and family the tweet the OP posted, tell them how much it bothers you (because we can’t upset the straight white men) but then tell them you support them.
So tell me, what good comes out of this type of video in an LGBT center when it gets out into the public, like it inherently did in this case? I could give two shits less what they do or pledge. But what you don't seem to get is that some people who already marginalize the LGBT community are using it against them. And all it does is set them back. The OP is clearly homophobic. Notice I didn’t make judgement of the clip one way or the other. YOU did. I pointed out that you were looking at it through the lens of someone who’s intent was to use it against lgbt folks and you picked it right up and ran with it. And now you’re doubling down on the criticism. Did you watch the entire documentary? See it from any other context aside from the OP? Ask your friends and family members if they’ve seen the documentary and this clip within it and asked them about it? I’m going to bet not. So then mission accomplished by the OP and the person he copied the tweet from: To take one small clip from something, peddle it out in the worst possible light, and then let folks like you engage your white man rage and join the hate parade.
