I remember DiNardo as the IU coach said this way..."He wanted to see the day when IU and Purdue would both be good to see both teams not only play for the bucket, but for bowl positioning."
So, during the Joe Tiller era, IU wasn't able to go to the bowl era...
Now, if IU is starting a string (hey, it could happen, people get struck by lightning)...maybe Purdue could get there and make the bucket game that much more meaningful....
