Great hire for Neb. Might be one of the best hires of the offseason. Still, a lot coaches returning to college FB fail to replicate earlier success. Chip Kelly, Dennis Erickson, Mike Riley come to mind. Greg Schiano has won only 6 B10 games in three years at Rutgers.

Kelly and Erickson maybe didn’t replicate their earlier success, but did pretty well at UCLA and Oregon State, respectively. I am sure Nebraska fans would trade for UCLA’s season at this point.

Rhule did not use that offense at Baylor or Temple when he previously coached in college.
