Masks?

Was watching some of the DNC and noticed a number of people in the audience wearing masks. Then, when they show the pro-hamas, anti-Israel protesters, a lot of them were wearing masks as well.
What gives?
Is this a liberal/Democrat thing?

Protestors do it often to try and hide their identity more than anything else and the Dems inside made it seem like it's legitimate to wear one.

The one's inside are paranoid idiots who will scream science at you without the ability to actually understand science. We've learned that lesson well.

The best guess based upon history of comments is that the pro-hamas, anti-Israel people just entered the theatre to join in
