So this was mentioned in the previous thread but I thought it was deserving of some discussion on its own.

Hagen is a Purdue alum, former Purdue coach, and has been having success at IU as a coach. Per this board, he is a good recruiter and has in-state connections.

Is it time to bring him home? Should our new coach hire him as a position coach? Why did he leave to begin with (I assume the Morgue?). Is he highly thought of?

Looking forward to hearing everyone's thoughts.

I assume he left because he got a better paycheck from IU. I also wonder if he was undervalued on coach Hope's staff given the shift in focus to recruiting in Florida.

Purdue was fortunate to have them when they did...but, he already went home when he went to IU...and he did a nice job there, just as he had when he was at Purdue.

I would love to see him back at Purdue, but he will have other opportunities, and may have a good one for that matter at IU depending on how things play out there.
