The frustrating thing was their inability to use the gunfire data. That is stupid.

Also, the fact that the cop got shot like 12 times in that short of period of time was appalling. Not sure why Texas is unwilling to make possession of this stuff an automatic felony (from the video and article).

Semi-automatic weapon conversion. Few people in this country are allowed to buy fully-automatic weapons - haven’t been able to for many years - unless you are retired military or LEO.

I agree that these conversion parts should not be legal, in general. Most people who use them are criminals or deranged lunatics - same goes for bump stocks.

The point is having the law on the books doesn’t matter if the prosecutor doesn’t prosecute. For example why does this happen? An elected body in Chicago and Cook County allows it to.

This just means more sweeping under the rug by Democrats. In the minds, and now via Illinois laws, the accused deserve to be free. Just wait for this to be replicated across America in a city near you.
