Possibly the most logical choice for Louisville. Also one in which CJB would likely look at and say “that’s a good idea for them because there’s a lot of rebuilding work to be done, it may take years and in four or five years I might be ready to move at that point“

Louisville couldn’t be in any worse than Hazell had the Boilers.

It wouldn’t be a good move by Fickell. He has a good thing in Cincinnati and Louisville just canned their most successful coach for one sub .500 season and at the tune of a 14 million dollar job. He has plenty of good faith built up in Cincy. He has done a heck of a job. If he continues to succeed he will find a much better job. He could be very successful at Louisville. He has Midwest inroads and his players love him. It would be a great hire for Louisville but I am not sure how good of a move it would be at this point for him. If Louisville opens up the checkbook, it could be hard for him to say no to jump into a power conference. Fickell will top a lot of schools wish lists. Not sure leaving now would be in his best interest.

“the most logical choice” - lulz.

I don't see Fickel going there. He can do better.

Cincy is a spring board to ND (Kelly) or tOSU (replace Urban), not CCoL.

Brohm could do much better as well, if he were to leave WL.

He isn’t a big enough name for osu.

Louisville wouldn’t be a bad gig, but he could do better. Just not sure where

He will get the O$U job once Meyer retires soon....

Fick should wait out Ohio State. Once Urban hangs it up after a successful run at Cincinnati he would be logical.

Maybe. A couple other names would be in play as well.

OSU will go after a bigger name than Fickell. Campbell is a possibility.
That’s probably true. I do l know they were extremely pleased with his 3 games he coached. He really impressed a lot of folks in Columbus.

He sure did. They have backed off that a little.

Campbell might be in line for some NFL jobs as well.

Nope....I am done with UK forever. I wish I could change my name on here. I have been a Purdue fan for years.

My sons team is WKU....man have they messed up since Jeff B left.
Maybe change your email from AOL to Yahoo and start over?

I bet that 1977Doucher is available. Goodness knows that it is fitting.
