I wonder if that's because they feel Kelly is recruiting over them or after 1 year in his system it isn't their cup of tea.
He’s not playing because of activity off the field. He is not planning on leaving the team. I’m sort of shocked the LSU coach is placing an emphasis on grades over playing time. The previous coach could care less about a player’s academic standing.
Pure speculation on my part based on reading several different articles related to why he is not playing all hinted at the same reason. But afraid to actually reveal the true reason.

He declared for the NFL draft, so yes, he is planning on leaving the team..
We are going to need quite a few more of these types of players to not to be playing to make this a game unfortunately
During the season, he missed at least one game attending to the birth of his child. I am fairly sure that he does not wish to risk injury as he has declared for the NFL. It would seem that he wants to provide for his family. It is hard to argue with that.

I just shared what was publicly published yesterday. The original story was released yesterday. Today’s post was a day late. Is if my fault the new changed in 24 hours since the original report? Take a look at yesterday’s news the originally reported the story. It also said he had enrolled in school for next semester. I guess he changed his mind or others here have posted their own stories

If you find the press conference his coach made last wednesday, you will also find what I was aluding to. At the press conference, his coach did not reveal why he was not going to play. and his coach did not say he had dcided to turn pro. his coach thought last Wednesday, he was coming back to LSU. He made the announcement he was turning pro immediately following his coach's press conference.
and unfortunately, all you saw was the player's announcement. and nobody recalls or rembers his coach's press conference other than me. This link will show there was a press conference on Wednesday by his coach before he made his announcement. at the time of the coach's press conference, there was no reason given for the receiver's absence.
i read the coach's press conference when I made my comments. after his comments were made, a different story was published.
