Louisville fans are like a Pouting Baby

Yeah Louisville wants and will take your new toy. Its not like Purdue is a blue blood or anything. Enjoy the fact that Jeff rejuvenated a program that has been abysmal for over a decade and move on. Purdue is a stepping stone job so you should get used to this when your coach has success at a place thats known to be a big ten doormat. Neal Brown would be a very good replacement for Brohm but the fact stands you will be in the same situation again in a couple years when the poachers come calling.

If he tells us no we will be just fine. We are in good hands with our new AD. Its more about the arrogance of Purdue fans when in reality you have had one of the worst teams in college football the last 10-15 years. I see your reason for excitement considering what the football program has been but to talk like you have arrived is premature at best

If you’re going to talk smack at least get your facts straight. From 2012-2016, Purdue was one of the worst teams in the country. So Purdue was bad when they had one coach for 3.5 years. That’s it. The last 10-15 years? Laughable. That time period included several bowl games and a good chunk of the Tiller era.

I would consider going 39-67 overall and 20-54 in conference play over the last ten years pretty bad. Maybe thats good by PURDUE STANDARDS but to the rest of the logical world thats pretty bad.

Again, the majority of that was during the tenure of the worst coach we had. That 4-year stretch was 9-39 overall and 3-30 in conference. Take that out, and it’s not nearly as bad for an overall record of 35-40 which isn’t amazing but is far from one of the worst in football.

Doesn’t make it any better but if you are going to ‘troll’ someone, get your stats right.

However, if you look at the previous 10 years prior to what may constitute the worst P5 coach in my life time of 34 years:

2003-2012:
64-62

A bit of a difference if you remove Hazel’s record.

Also, UofL played in CUSA and Big East during that stretch of time. If Purdue played that same conference alignment, their record would be substantially better. The same could be said if Louisville was playing in the B1G.

Didn't know you guys had a heisman trophy winner, a couple of bcs bowl victories and 7 top 25 seasons in the last decade. That must have just slipped my mind.

Heare when I say this and I mean it from the bottom of my heart. I am being.completely honest. I forgot, didn't realize...I don't know what to call it...that Purdue even had a football team until Brohm took the job. I'm dead serious. I watch college football every Saturday. I NEVER watch the NFL

I can't even believe this is a topic. He's only been here 2 years. Louiskucky isn't that far of a drive. It's not like he's across the country and can't easily visit family. His brother just bought a home here. Moore is a HT candidate as a Frosh. He has a top class coming in next year. His recruiting team has already sent notice to incoming players that they are staying. Give it a rest. Purdue is the better job and it's not even close.

Louisville is a complete joke of a school. The only reason that “Brohm to Louisville” is even a discussion is because it’s his home. Never in a million years would a coach, without alumni ties, leave Purdue for a commuter school like Louisville.

Lousiville is a glorified commuter school with significant enrollment issues. It is the polar opposite of a prestigious, beautiful campus like Purdue.
