Our 135 pound walking mess is a sweetheart. They are an odd bread but we love his weirdness.THey're great looking dogs, but they can be a bit"protective"
Stay with the golden. We are on number 4 and they are absolutely the best! Our last three have come from a GR rescue group in Indi (we live in FWA). See if there is such a group close to you.Puppy up to two years old. Would also consider a flat coated retriever.
Let me know.
Yes, our last dog was 50/50 mix yellow lab and golden.Stay with the golden. We are on number 4 and they are absolutely the best! Our last three have come from a GR rescue group in Indi (we live in FWA). See if there is such a group close to you.
I've had four plus two litters. Can you give me the name of the Indy group. I'm a bit north of Muncie.Stay with the golden. We are on number 4 and they are absolutely the best! Our last three have come from a GR rescue group in Indi (we live in FWA). See if there is such a group close to you.
Thanks. Link would not work. Got it to work. Sent them an email and waiting to hear back. Maybe I should get a goat to take care of my lawn. LOLTD2. My cousin bought a pup a year ago from www.alboergoats.web.com. Their primary income is from goats but they also have a couple litters of Goldens a year. She said they should have a couple litters soon. Theirs are more of a cream color phase. I've always had deep red ones. They are in Oakwood OH.
I go through Greentown on occasion and there's a small farm at the east end where there are two GP's watching over their sheep. Pretty coolOur 135 pound walking mess is a sweetheart. They are an odd bread but we love his weirdness.
IDK where you are located but a couple in my town has a litter of golden retrievers that they will be trying to find homes for.Puppy up to two years old. Would also consider a flat coated retriever.

Thanks, but I'm a retriever guy. Those are great dogs though.I've got three neurotic Australian Shepherds.
A mini Blue Merle that is entitled and judgmental
A Red rescue from a hoarding/puppy mill that doesn't trust anyone who doesn't live in my house, but is the most grateful dog ever and a complete ham.
A Tri rescue not quite two year old pup that was obviously a spoiled COVID pup, so lacking in manners (but improving) and really on the large size for a Aussie.
Does any of those sound like better options?
Though my wife might object, but that is given the time as to whether the oversize pup has decided it's playtime or not.
Don't know if you ever heard back from the goat people but my cousin just posted they are having two litters in late Feb and there are pups still available in both litter
