Do you think players/recruits care about or get pumped up when watching their coach or teammates dancing?
I was surprised by the HBO Lions video team enthusiasm.
It’s probably very low on most people’s list, but to a teen, if all else is equal, could having a fun coach could make a difference? There’s plenty of other examples of dancing, should we have a gofundme for Brohm dancing lessons?
I haven’t seen discussion on coaches getting NIL money/benefits. Kind of like each Texas OL or Texas Tech player getting money, how about a coach landing 4 star players, having all big ten / all americans in their position group or have an NFL draftee, etc the coach get a nice car to drive, access to someone’s lake house, boat, etc? Could help in recruiting... “oh yeah there’s a mansion I’ll have to show you when you get here, unbelievable views.”
I know they make good money relative to normal people, but maybe side perks could keep an assistant from jumping for a similar role/pay?
