season is young, sure we have taken two bad shots to the face but the season isn't over. Maybe the kids ate some bad fish when they landed. We have looked flat and sluggish in the Bahamas. Really excited to see if we can turn it around tonight befor heading home. Either way I'll be happy to see us back in Mackey and see the team start playing like we all know they can.

This team has played a lot of basketball already this year with the WUG. They have travelled a lot and been away from family and friends during the summer and now during Thanksgiving. Not making excuses for their play because it has not been up to Purdue standards, but they are still very young men who have had a very busy schedule.

Hoping the tourney is an aberration. They come back with Louisville. Let the games commence and see what happens?

Would like to see Carsen under control though :D

On the flip side, if Purdue wins tonight and takes the bucket back tomorrow, I'll probably just shrug off Tennessee and Western Kentucky.

I agree 100% ^^^^^^

A win tonight and the bucket gets back to West La and I’m totally recovered

I can shrug off Tennessee. I cannot under any circumstances shrug last night's game off. It was so bad and so haphazard and without care our any thought process, coaching included, that the team won't accomplish anything. Good teams don't lose those kind of games to teams as bad as WKU. That was a really below average team with zero star players barely able in D1. There is just no excuse for being so unathletic that you go into a game like a one trick pony shooting 3's every shot like you are from a Community College league. Purdue was ranked #18 and subordinated themselves to a roster of zero star and largely fat athletes that could barely run the floor. Tired, fatigued, I wouldn't care if lead balls were clamped to my ankles Purdue should have handled that team with one hand tied behind their backs. It was just folly and nothing buy absolute folly out there last night. Not confident these guys even know or care what they're doing. They certainly aren't playing with any kind of purpose.

That said, I'd still be very happy to see a win in football.

Unranked Texas up 14 on Duke with 11 to go. These things happen. I would agree the Western Kentucky game was completely unacceptable but we will learn a ton about our pride and character tonight. We get blown out tonight I’m worried. We turn it around and we will be fine. I expect us to play well finally.
