So the Indy sports stations just reported that LeBron James, the current NBA Golden Boy ,didnt play tonight against the Pacers because he was tired after playing in a home game in Cleveland last night. Is this normal in the NBA?A couple was interviewed who drove up from Kentucky to see him play and they were dissapointed of course. And it was reported now that this is the third year in a row that his team came here and he didnt play! Why does the league allow this to happen, and why do people keep spending their money in such a wasteful manner? Now I have one more reason to dislike the bush league known as the NBA!

when you make the seasons 150 million games long...that's how it goes. Vote with your money. Don't watch the games, don't buy the merchandise.

It's become normal on teams where they know they're going to be in the playoffs and have veteran stars. The Spurs sat Manu, Tony Parker, and Tim Duncan for about a half dozen games last year, usually on the second half of back-to-backs. Lebron did it last year as well.

Thats absurd.Fans buy tickets to those games hoping to see the star players.

Ya but when the league was fining the spurs for resting (older) players,
That was more absurd

Fans could have less games to watch them if their careers get shorter by playing so much during season... give and take
