Last time Purdue beat No. 2 ranked Ohio State

Was in October 1984. I was a junior at Purdue and sat in the north end zone. Attached is the WLFI replay of the game. It was much closer and more exciting than last Saturday's game.

Mike Tomczak, OSU's QB, throws the ball out of bounds after the Purdue fans start counting down the final seconds of the game. It worked. It was 4th down and Purdue took over on downs and won the game.

We all rushed the field after the game. (I was one of those dots on the field) My voice was hoarse for days for yelling so much during the game. I loved it.
