...in describing the love nest debacle:

"That was no way for such a special IU football season to end, with vomit on the field and disrespect in the humid Gulf Coast air, but it’s what we have: The Hoosiers’ best season in half a century finding a disgusting ending in a second-tier bowl against a second-rate SEC program. "

If he had only added 'and goose crap in the stands,' it would have been Nobel worthy.

Worthy of a separate thread so that we can all admire what a real journalist can do, not one from the iu school of 'journalism'. I'm surprised they let him stick around since he is willing to go against the party line at times.

2nd tier? The Outback Bowl used to be an upper-echelon game. I remember Purdue fans were a bit ticked Wisco got the invite over us in 1997.
Any bowl not in the playoff rotation is 2nd tier or lower.

Plus, Outback's bloomin owner is on hard times.

These clowns still don't get it: you EARN respect.

No signature wins. Barely a win over a team with a winning record. At times, struggling to beat teams with losing records who are devastated by injury.

That "best season in half a century" is capped off by LOSING to a team that was cherry-picked, which would give them their first bowl win IN THIRTY (30) YEARS.

Good grief. The amount of whining surrounding that program is stunning.

Whining on this forum.

Whining by former administrators.

Whining by "journalists".

The IU Star is still in circulation?
Who knew?

Apparently it is still in .... uh ..... "circulation"....

IU couldn’t get out of its own way after an embarrassing display of bitterness. #LEO
