Keyaunta Goodwin portal 12/16

I like him too. It’s not just his size. But rather he is a 4 star offensive lineman from Indiana . THEY DO EXIST !!!! These are the linemen we should be targeting , recruiting and signing!

Do you not know who Gus Hartwig is?

Have you not read my previous posts that are over 2 moths old? Did you not see how happy I was when we signed Hartwig! And I said this player DOES NOT need to redshirt?

I guess people have a tendency to forget when I praise a player and the analysis I provide when doing so.

And basically to refresh your memory, I said if Purdue can sign a 4 star olineman like Hartwig, they should be able to sign other 4 star linemen rather than the typical undersized 3 star linemen we traditionally sign!

Matt Light and Dennis Kelly came to Purdue as tight ends. Bulked them up and developed them. Worked out pretty well. Tiller’s staff repeatedly bulked guys up a position from high school. Safeties became outside linebackers. Outside linebackers and WRs became defensive ends. See, e.g. Gilbert Gardner.

I just read stoops parting comments. They were not kind. He said he played him in every game hoping he’d be ready, but he never played him until the game was already decided. Despite his lofty rating stoops didn’t have confidence in playing him as a freshman in meaningful action.

Why are you so mean?
Because I get very annoyed at people who claim I say one thing and never do any research on what I actually said. I also get very annoyed at saying the same thing over and over again.

People get upset my posts are so long. So I tried to be brief. and keep it short.

and then they got mad and took my posts out of context.

so then I go back to posting long multiple paragraph posts to ensure you receive the entire meaning.

and then people claim their eyes got tired and they stopped reading after the 8th word.

it's been like this for the past 10 years on this forum and the previous iron grid forum. I used to take the high road and ignore stupid posters.

I have a son who is a Division 1 track coach at a rival school in Indiana. . I mention it once every two or three months. and posters call me narcistic and other terms. I was taught it's a great thing to share good news. But not when I share it.

I could post great awesome news, and somebody here would find a reason to stick in an insult. and you ask me why I'm so mean? I'm just trying to fit in and be just like all the oher posters here.

I stopped posting on the board for a couple of months, and I said Purdue grad 85 when I leave, you'll just find somebody else on the board to argue with. and he did. I could stop posting now, and there would still be posters talking about me, and arguing with others.

there was a post on the basketball board that read, the season is over, what do we post about now. My reply was the usual stuff you always post about- basically finding fault in other posters and arguing with them about nothing other than just to argue. and that's what they did all summer long. and that's what they still are doing . Mathboy loves to argue. if I stopped posting, he'd still keep arguing with somebody else.

It doesn’t mean that you have to be mean. And Gus Hartwig committed in 2019. I don't think it's fair for you to expect me to research what you said almost 4 years ago before posting. Merry Christmas.

Goodwin buyer beware. Work ethic is a major concern. Under right coaching he may develop but UK is a really good place for Oline and he couldn’t make it there.

He is a take because the potential reward is greater than the risk.

Walters said “you have to love the game” so it’ll be interesting what kind of guys he goes after in the portal. Sometimes stars and size mean nothing if that someone doesn’t have a good work ethic. Can’t wait to see what Walters can do in recruiting!
