Purdue had offered some time ago (as did some others, as TC4Three had mentioned).2018 top 150 kid from LN- saw he committed to VCU yesterday. Did we offer him?
Do you think his IU and Purdue offers were still valid? Crean has offered 478 kids since he offered Easley, so he may have forgotten about him.Purdue had offered some time ago (as did some others, as TC4Three had mentioned).
I have seen him a handful of times...a nice player with some skills, but more potential than polish at this point.
Despite his offers from the likes of Purdue and IU, he set his first visit to VCU (and I don't know that they had offered at that point)...but he seemingly was pretty set on them, so it was not a huge surprise that he committed there despite having some bigger (and maybe "better") offers.
He oversigns by about the same amount though...so not an issue even if he had forgot about him.Do you think his IU and Purdue offers were still valid? Crean has offered 478 kids since he offered Easley, so he may have forgotten about him.
Crean told him he could be point guard, or Dwayne Wade, or both.Rumor is he wanted to be a PG and VCU is willing to give him a shot there. I don't think the state schools see him at the point.
Seem to recall a tweet or article of him honoring his mother at her cemetary...He is an excellent player not sure LN moving him to the PG position was a great move for him . We offered him as a freshman power forward . As far as the whole visit thing he has been to Purdue at least a handful of times . He would have been a good get along the lines of Smotherman . I also think having to compete with Aaron Wheeler , Ryan Cline , and Nojel Eastern for minutes at the wing would have been difficult for him . Extremely high character kid I wish him well .
