If able, can you give an update on the rain in your areas?

The rain totals and flooding sound astounding. Hope all is well.

Best wishes to all Knuckleheads who live in the Carolinas. I hope you're all safe and weather the storm unscathed.

I don't live there anymore, but where keswci and I used to live (Mount Pleasant) things are largely... wet. It's downtown Charleston that's really bad. I have a lot of friends still in the Lowcountry, and many have flooded backyards and other such calamities, but downtown Charleston was amazingly shut down for flooding. I've been down there for some bad flooding (drove a Jeep with 34" tires on 7" of total lift), but nothing like what they've got right now.

Just looked at NWS, and in all this mess Mount Pleasant leads the way in total rainfall... they've received over two FEET of rain since Thursday. Good grief.

I'm in the Upstate, Greenviile, we got a lot of rain, i think about 3 inches, but not a whole lot of flooding except for low lying areas. From what I've heard, the lower part from Columbia down got it a lot worse. Think i saw some areas down by the coast got 10+ inches yesterday.

I went to the Clemson-ND game and tailgated all day, and I can tell you it didnt seem to dampen much of the enthusiasm over there.

All is well, thanks. Heard there have been a few fatalities but the Charleston/county/state did a great job handling this in the low country.

As far as rain, I'm a storm lover from my childhood in Indiana and this was impressive for the amount of rain, starting with the first system Thursday. It was tropical storm followed by hurricane levels with thankfully no wind. I live a par 5 from Boone Hall and prior to the Saints game Weather Channel said they recorded 22". But this is Mt. Pleasant and the Mt. means it's the highest part of a marsh so it is impressive how much water is "perked" here, Shadowmoss in West Ashley couldn't handle it as well and from TV looks bad.

Haven't ventured out much today other than the Teeter but will be out and about tomorrow and hopefully the damage isn't too great.
