agree w/ this pick, it's just I think we get Campbell or Helton
If we settle for Helton, I'll be disappointed, especially after what Bobinski said in his press conference...

There is a difference in naming the coach you want Purdue to hire. And naming the coach you expect Purdue to hire!
There are many coaches I’d love to see Purdue hire. And I believe the entire board would agree with my choices. However, some of those choices are unrealistic.
I’d love to hire Leonhard. But I’d also love to have the Packers hire him as a DC. If Purdue hired him as a head coach, they would have to hire a decent OC.
I’d like for Purdue to hire the coach at U of Washington or the coach at Northwestern. Northwestern had a bad year this year, but has usually found a way to win with very little talent in the past. Maybe he needs a change of schools. The u of Wash coach has familiarity with usc and ucla and would be a good choice for the future.
Now for the guys I expect Purdue to hire.
What’s Frost doing lately? I thought he was a stupid hire by Nebraska, but ADs seem to like him.
I expect Purdue to hire the guy from ISU. He’s had about the same success Brohm has had. He already knows Iowa and has been decent against some good schools and usually has his team ranked in the top 25 which is something Brohm never did.
I also expect Purdue to hire the coach from WKU. His name has come up a lot. I don’t like the idea, but I suspect BoBO will pick him and save some money on his salary and pay him less. Than $4 mil to start.
The guy from West Virginia would be expected.
I doubt Purdue hires an NFL coach.
Against my desires and also against what Bobo said in his press conference, I highly doubt Purdue will hire a big name coach or one with a proven track record at a successful power 5 school. I expect Bobo to do the same thing he always does and hire a young coach from a non power 5 school just like Brohm who will use Purdue as a stepping stone to some other school.
I hope I’m wrong, but I’ve followed Purdue too long to hope that that their AD is telling the truth and that Purdue will hire some big name and successful coach. I wholly expect it will be more of the same, and we’ll hire somebody with a similar resume to Brohm, Hazell, Hope, Tiller, And every coach before him.

Northwestern? No way. Don't want anyone affiliated with the program coaching anywhere near Purdue.
Purdue is a very different place than when Brohm, Hazel or Hope were hired.
BIG 10 runner up, decent roster and reasonable expectations. I think the job is attractive
