Saw UNC suspend some football players and looks like they alerted Michigan and Marquette as well.

Guess I have to wonder if the football players are selling cleats or do they also get sneakers?

It just blows my mind that anyone would spend 3, 4 or 11 thousand dollars on a pair of sneakers that are made in China or some other 3rd world nation. Just ridiculous.

Figured as much - going to be interesting to see what comes out of this.

The interesting part of the article was what Oregon did to prevent issues that they are given the shoes before the game and the equipment staff takes them immediately after and puts them into lock boxes and returns them when their eligibility is used up.
