a couple of weeks ago I was suggesting this guy as an OC candidate for our squad. Oh well another one gone.

As it is, no one says, "Um, I can be OC at Purdue, or Penn State...let me think, think, think." Even if Hazell and Burke were fired tomorrow, Purdue is a decade away from being respectable again, and I mean IU respectable 6/6....

I don't think the program is necessarily a decade away from being respectable again.

But, I do think that having a lame duck AD and head coach just circling in a holding pattern for the next year or two all but guarantees there won't be any success in the short term.

Get the AD and head coaching situations sorted out, and I think this program can start rebuilding again..
