Purdue finally has a coach to get them back on track.
Thanks for posting that
If Brohm gets 5 wins...barring a team making the CFP, he should be up for COY.Sure was "NIGHT AND DAY" listening to him speak as to compared to Hazz............I really think he turns this ship around quickly........may not reflect in the win totals this season, but I think we play a hell of a lot more competitive week in and week out. We will be a fun team to watch this year! Who knows...............we finish 5-7, we just may go bowling in his first season!!!!!!!!!! I think at least two teams with 5-7 went Bowling last year just to fill all the slots!
Purple haze won 3 why is 5 so unfathomavle to win 5? Our fans are so lame sometimes this is not IUFBIf Brohm gets 5 wins...barring a team making the CFP, he should be up for COY.
did I say he should win it? I said he should be considered for the award mainly because of the horrible depth Hazel took tha program. Unless a team and a coach do something g great, like making the CFP...he should be considered if he gets to or near a bowl game. It isn't lame...it's a relatively decent prediction that has a good chance at happening.Purple haze won 3 why is 5 so unfathomavle to win 5? Our fans are so lame sometimes this is not IUFB
You really need to stop with that. It is possible to want the team to do well while at the same time realizing that Hazell left the cupboard bare.Purple haze won 3 why is 5 so unfathomavle to win 5? Our fans are so lame sometimes this is not IUFB
I did like his comment about wanting to play a competitive non conference schedule, never cared for playing cupcakes. You really need to stop with that. It is possible to want the team to do well while at the same time realizing that Hazell left the cupboard bare.
You will be the first person to jump off the bandwagon if this thing goes south.
A competitive schedule could be relative to your ability to compete. Still think it should be a little less daunting in a coach's first year...if the Louisville game was a Mountain West or a Sunbelt team...Purdue would have a real chance at 3-0 and making some headway in confidence and getting to a bowl game. The worst thing that could happen would be an absolute blowout...which with the defending Heisman winner taking the field against Purdue, is a very real possibility.I did like his comment about wanting to play a competitive non conference schedule, never cared for playing cupcakes.
agree about the first year, but have a problem when FCS teams are scheduled.A competitive schedule could be relative to your ability to compete. You are welcome!
Brohm gets it and he is going to get Purdue football there. Probably much faster than many on this board think.
I would also add that Purdue played an easier schedule last year and the new staff has to deal with one more year of Hazell's recruiting. All while implement a new scheme while trying to fit players recruited for a run oriented system. You really need to stop with that. It is possible to want the team to do well while at the same time realizing that Hazell left the cupboard bare.

BoilerNYC you completely get it! I agree with you all the way. If we won 3 last year, why is 5 so unfathomable? You said: "Our fans are so lame sometimes"---you nailed it. Good job.Purple haze won 3 why is 5 so unfathomavle to win 5? Our fans are so lame sometimes this is not IUFB
