Love this guy. One of the few (if not the only) bright spots during 2015. In spite of being a little small for an interior lineman he has been a stud all season. 60 tackles, nearly twice as many as the next defensive lineman, 14 for loss, a couple sacks and a blocked kick. Reminds me a little of Kerrigan the way he always seems to be in the right place and whenever there's a play blown up in the backfield he's usually in the middle of it. Glad he did not follow his brothers to IU and glad he stayed committed when Hope was fired.

Can a player be named the DL coach or is that against the rules?

I had offered earlier in the season that he was one of the few "stars" on this team - glad to see I wasn't completely off on that assessment.
Thought he had a pretty strong season

When I criticized the players for not giving a crap (esp on defense), I make a special mention of the players who seem like they are always going. Jake is one of those guys. IF we had anyone else on the D-Line with Jake's talent and motor, the defense would have probably won a game or two more for us this year.

Wish we had a bunch more guys like him.

All of the Replogle kids are blue collar workers. I think Purdue may have gotten the best of them.
Adam Replogle was pretty good by his senior year and is with the Falcons.

Agree with all of the above.

I'd add Robert Kugler, Frankie Williams, and Anthony Brown to the list of upperclassmen who have consistently put fourth tremendous effort during these unrelentingly dismal seasons.

Add Markel Jones. Love this kid. Hopefully he sticks around. He could really be the reason we start to turn the corner at some point.
