• Purdue recruited him as a corner, the big piece of his decision, he said, being the chance to play right away. He did not want to redshirt.
Just going to take this opportunity to remind you that Purdue's picture at corner is wide open after this season.
• Conversations today with Frankie Williams and Anthony Brown helped sell him on Purdue.
• He is still going to camp at Ohio State on the 19th, I think he said.
• He played high school football in Kentucky prior to this year and is friends with linebacker Kash Daniel.
Daniel has a Purdue offer. Long could serve as an advocate there.
