Jaden Ivey … Jordan Poole / Ja morant

Ja Morant and Ivey have a couple of gears that Poole only wishes he had.

Ivey is friends with Ja Morant. Ivey’s mom was an assistant coach with the Memphis Grizzlies and Jaden and Ja worked out and practiced together. Ivey has tried to model his game on Ja’s.

I’m not saying Ivey is Ja Morant because Ja is a unique talent. That said, Ivey’s game is much closer to Ja’s than Poole’s. Ivey is much more explosive than Poole.

55% of Poole's shots in the NBA have been from 3-point range. I don't think the Kings or Pacers or Knicks or whoever are looking for that in Ivey.

Pistons want a shooter but it would be a shame to try to force Ivey into a role as just a shooter
