With Kendall out today there may be a chance Jacquil plays. Kendall plays the 4 when we have 5 bench guys in. This could be a chance at some valuable minutes for Jacquil and a HUGE learning experience. I would be really happy to see him get a few minutes.

JT has earned the opportunity, however I wonder how much CMP will shorten the bench since this is a crucial game.
I think it would be best for all Purdue fans to temper their expectations for Taylor. He is still very raw. It is very unlikely that he is the piece that puts this team over the top.
I'd hate for him to end up on the Stephens bash list. i didn't see this deleted thread but I've read plenty about Stephens and I just can't understand how people can get so much pleasure from ripping a kid who is playing a game and seemlingly trying hard to improve.
I don't think people shouldn't point out weaknesses or flaws in a player's game but it seems the people who want to do this have no ability to convey their thoughts without crossing the line to bashing and personal attacks.
Unless you've had a son who has played D1, you will never come close to understanding. Sure, every kid is different, just as every one of us is. And yes, there are players who have wrong attitudes, but remember that these are 18 and 19 year old kids who thought they would be living their dream of playing college basketball, and then that dream becomes reality.
