Book itWe'll likely know more ......... after..... tomorrow.
I heard he'll be the 1st cyborg above 7' ....From what I understand the way they repaired-built it will give him a 24 inch vertical jump off that leg. This is great news.
Yeah, I think you are rightWe'll likely know more ......... after..... tomorrow.
He's called Jacobus now.I heard he'll be the 1st cyborg above 7' ....
Yeah, that's a concept that as a non-athlete, has never quite made sense to me over the years, but it is true. And we know that the timeframe was actually close to him being back this season. So I'd look for a clean bill of health going into the summer.I haven't heard anything specifically but I've always heard it's much better to break a bone than to tear soft tissue. I'd expect he will come back from this just fine.
Going back to when I had young kids, I certainly hope they repaired it with a Go-Go-Gadget leg!I heard he'll be the 1st cyborg above 7' ....
My Gawd man, that's ancient history!!!!Going back to when I had young kids, I certainly hope they repaired it with a Go-Go-Gadget leg!
I'm damn near as young as you!!!My Gawd man, that's ancient history!!!!

Yeah, I was hit hard recently. In my senior HS year there were four of us that met once or twice a week to play cards. When one of us passed this summer, I realized that I was the last one standing.I KNOW!!! but I'll never catch you ... I've noted that several girls we dated have passed.
I lost three great buddies in the past year. It hits hard. I keep in close touch with my Doc of 44 yearsYeah, I was hit hard recently. I don't know if you remember in the early seventies, Rick Miles took over as the voice of Purdue football. His dad was the voice before him. Rick moved around some, being program manager for a major Indy radio station, coached some great girls' basketball teams, and ended up as the head of the Houston ESPN office. He fought cancer for a couple of years, enjoyed some great European cruises, but lost his battle about a year ago. One of my very best friends over the long haul.Yeah, I was hit hard recently. Correct, if it is granted, which it certainly seems like it has to.Prob a dumb question, but the medical redshirt will be in effect and thus we will still get four years from him starting next year, correct?

I suspect his paths crossed with Des (Mike McClure) beforeI don't know if you remember in the early seventies, Rick Miles took over as the voice of Purdue football. His dad was the voice before him. I think that was from a few weeks ago…unless they went back. And I’d imagine he’d have a cast or something to help him stand after surgery, no?
Yeah, I’m not sure?I think that was from a few weeks ago…unless they went back. And I’d imagine he’d have a cast or something to help him stand after surgery, no?
I think he’s out for the year…not sure it’s worth it for him to come back.I am not saying that we would want him to do it, because he would have to get back in condition.
However, it seems that he is doing really well, is there a chance that he could possibly come back this year or is this injury a normal 6 to 8 month turnaround?
even if there is a chance, he was very weak to begin with. Now he's not played or run in a month or more and will have to strengthen the muscles just to get BACK to where he was as a very weak, true freshman. And that's not touching on how long it takes for a bone to heal and why it broke in the first (furst?) place. When healthy.I am not saying that we would want him to do it, because he would have to get back in condition.

Hopefully eating 20,000 cals a day too 😂I expect he is doing a lot of weight training. The best thing for while he is unable to play.
