Jack Kiser

Didn't realize until now that he is ND's lowest rated commit. Wonder if playing time will become an issue.

Maybe at Purdue too. He would not even be the highest OLB in our class per 247 just behind Khali Sanders. Jaylen Alexander is a true freshman and Larry, Cornel Jones, and Barnes are all sophomores. Not exactly a situation you would step into and expect a lot of playing time, perhaps not until year 3. If playing time were his primary concern he probably would not have picked Purdue or ND.

He's gone.

He made his bed, now he'll lie in it.

We're looking to the future with the recruits we have!

Yeah I’m pretty psyched about our LB group going forward. The front line is going to improve immensely as well. Great safety class coming in.

They may all be playing basketball for Izzo by the end of their careers, but a lot to look forward to in the coming seasons.

Concerning Kiser, Notre Dame sold him on playing a specialty position that they feature this year with Tranquil. New DC Clark Lea, calls the hybrid LB/Safety, the "Buck" position and they think Kiser is the ideal heady/versatile player that can handle it in a couple years/ Its kind of entertaining if you actually watch ND play because Tranquil lines up all over the field, LB, Safety, DE---he rountinely lines up somewhere different on nearly every snap....Kiser IS NOT simply filling up a recruiting class-they believe he is way under rated...

GK didn't play top notch competition either but both dominated this year. If GK is not Mr Football, then I hope Kiser is.
GK played Lafayette Jeff and McCutcheon to start the season. Jeff was a top 10 6A team all season. Also just played Andrean. GK has been dominant all season but GK dominated the camp circuit for two years. Kiser has an immense football IQ because he has played it all in high school. He’ll be a great player for ND...as long as he doesn’t celebrate a pass breakup like it won the NC.....
