Pulled this from the "Oregonlive" website, "Jack Colletto could see as much time as a short yardage quarterback as he does inside linebacker."

btw the articles a decent read, https://www.oregonlive.com/beavers/...s-and-losers-as-beavers-head-into-purdue.html

In OSU's season finally last year vs. Arizona State he had "six rushes for 44 yards, converted four first downs, scored two touchdowns and added a two-point conversion run." YIKES!

Anybody know if he's related to form Purdue HC, Jim Colletto?

Holy cow. Lining up a LB at QB??

That's a bunch of gimmicky crap, and only weak-@ss programs do that.

(Am I doing this right??)
Unless it's a sweet flea flicker. Or a fake kneel down before halftime. Those never get old.

Jack couldn't quite get the playing time at QB that he wanted, but is a tremendous athlete. Soooooooo, he became a linebacker!
Every time he lined up behind center last year we all kept thinking it would be a fake run/pass something, but it was always just a short yardage (successful) run. But knowing he can throw, it keeps the D honest.
Same thing when Johnny Hekker was our punter, he was originally a QB so the dual-threat was effective.

Jim Colletto is 76 years old...I wasn't implying he had a 20yo son.
i didn't think you were ... i was just sharing what i found if anybody remembered his kids names ... which by the way, none of which are Bert ... so at best he's a distant relation of Jim.
