Showing good hands and quick feet so far at the WUG.

Is focusing on boxing out and good position to get rebounds, setting great screens and then when looked for in the offensive flow he is catching the ball and using his soft touch around the rim.

Actually is finishing most of the shots with dunks which is getting his teammates excited as well.

So happy for this young man to be healthy and show out.

Crowd favorite in my opinion and true perfect Boilermaker.....worked hard for everything and is now reaping those rewards.....that's how Boilermakers do it.

Oh and shout out to the rest of the team too.....

Boiler Up!

For over 2 years now I have said on this board that JT would be a good player and an important key for this team.
A lot of people overlooked and wrote him off.
I am so glad he finally is healed and can show his ability.
He has been a Warrior Boiler and has never given up
Go JT.........

You were not the only one........I think I may have mentioned JT a few times....maybe just a little. ...ha ha

If this kid can come in and have a surprise season. Purdue will be dangerous and the sky is the limit

We need a healthy JT. He will be a key player next year too once Haas leaves. I travel to his old stomping grounds in Cambridge, MA a couple times a year for work. Hoping he breaks out this year.

I've been cautiously optimistic on JT as the injury bug bit him thus far.

I really want to see him to well this year and beyond. Not only for him and the team, but also for PU52Chevy. :)

In general, a really good contributor to the board, a great Purdue fan and an absolute loyalist to JT since the beginning.

Can't wait for the season to get here.

He told you, he's not selling you his truck.

I honestly don't know if I'm happier for JT for his early success or Chevy because I know he has probably cried tears of joy!!

Yes!

PU52Chevy is the undisputed heavyweight champion of JT for GOAT camp

Best thing is, he is likely to be a 6 year player, so will have 2 more years after this season.
2019-20 may well be the most athletic Purdue team we have ever seen

Carsen Sr
Eastern Jr
Wheeler Jr
Haarms RJr
Taylor SuperSenior

LOL I swore PUchevy had a mancrush, but maybe he's got an eye for diamond in the rough

I'm just going to sneak in here unnoticed ;) PUchevy has been a fan, no doubt, but I'm pretty close to a person that thought he could be a pretty good player as well. First, his high school videos show a long player that could move. Second, it was easy to see he was a Boiler. Third, you knew that "if" he could remain healthy his attitude and drive would make him a good player...see his effort on boards and running the court. My money says that PUchevy is happy for JT in starting to reap the rewards of hard work after so many injuries and frustration and I know you know that as well. JT was a kid Maryland went after...until his high school injury and sometimes those kids with a "competitive nature" come back after injuries...right Drew?

I give PUchevy props for his consistent, unwaivering faith that JT would play and be a positive for Purdue as did quite a few that were not in depression due to another player choosing a school other than Purdue.

Now, about that truck...

What's the likely hood that JT, gets 2 more after this year if he wants to follow thru on it, Medical waiver or something that the NCAA decides, and when does all this happen? Sorry for asking a bunch of ??
Any help, thanks in advance!
Just trying to control myself with the way he has played beginning with Canada a few weeks ago!
BoilerBasketball is gonna be good for a long time!

There is one thought that hasn't been discussed. If Taylor becomes as good as hoped, the pros will be after him, and he probably won't want to stay to play a 6th year at Purdue.
