Izzo spends more time crying to the refs than coaching his team. He has turned into a big whiner, when he used to be a good coach. It's hard to watch for a whole game.
He’s the coach I like seeing lose the most. It’s a beautiful thing. 😂Izzo spends more time crying to the refs than coaching his team. He has turned into a big whiner, when he used to be a good coach. It's hard to watch for a whole game.
I think time has made your memory fuzzy... He's always been a huge whiner...Izzo spends more time crying to the refs than coaching his team. He has turned into a big whiner, when he used to be a good coach. It's hard to watch for a whole game.
Especially now that Rat Krazooski retiredHe’s the coach I like seeing lose the most. It’s a beautiful thing. 😂
That is really funny!
Fran McCaffery is pretty fun to beat too! He always looks like he’s ready to explode. He’s the coach I like seeing lose the most. It’s a beautiful thing. 😂
Passive-aggressive inanity from the Ingham County District Attorney. He is insufferable.Just watched his post game. Gave much credit to Matt and Purdue. Bitched a little about the refs and schedule but I expected more.
As far as I can remember he has ALWAYS been like that. I am 51 and been watching bball a looonnnggg time. THis is why I don't care for him.Izzo spends more time crying to the refs than coaching his team. He has turned into a big whiner, when he used to be a good coach. Did you forget how he managed to segway from MLK day to himself re: "Dr. King had goals and I respect that, I respect guys with goals, I had goals..."Just watched his post game. Gave much credit to Matt and Purdue. Bitched a little about the refs and schedule but I expected more.
I knew he’d bitch about the refs, I admit they probably missed that one foul on Edey, big deal, reffing was fair today, a few misses but overall solid. Guys like him and Knight in the day expect to get every call at home, glad that at least today that didn’t happen.Just watched his post game. Gave much credit to Matt and Purdue. what's that saying the squeaky wheel gets the greaseBest coach @ working refs in B10.
And yes, thusly, he is a guy you love to beat.
always like his " I thought you get 3 meatballs w/ the pasta dish" lookIzzo has always been a whiner!
I laughed so hard through that presser. What an actor! He complained about everything all in one sitting!Another gem from his presser...
He was pissed that the refs called the foul against them on Edey, saying that he was pushing them too. His example was 'one guy was 400 pounds the other one was one......FIFTY' over-exaggerating Zachs weight and under estimating his guy....can't make this stuff up. Total buffoon.
So rich, coming from the guy who brought football to B1G basketball. Bullies don’t like to get bullied.I laughed so hard through that presser. What an actor! He complained about everything all in one sitting!
Furst is getting murdered underneath and Brandon goes out to in to out of frame haha. Can't believe what they allow.
I would hope so.When you whine about every call, the refs tune you out.
Yeah I was shocked when I heard him say that. Kind of surprised it didn’t result in a headline controversy. He kept saying on MLK day, I had a dream too (until it was blown up by Purdue). Using an occasion like that to discuss his personal aspirations was one of the more cringey things I’ve seen in a press conference. Perhaps it was originally thought out as a beautiful, appropriate speech after a win, and things just didn’t go the way he wanted.Did you forget how he managed to segway from MLK day to himself re: "Dr. King had goals and I respect that, I respect guys with goals, I had goals..."
Only that narcissistic clown could manage to equate what King was about to him and his 'goals'. Unreal.
Exactly. Well put.Yeah I was shocked when I heard him say that. Kind of surprised it didn’t result in a headline controversy. He's losing. That's it. If he had won there would be no complaining. Sore loser. Just an actor.I watched Izzo's comments after this game and the Illinois game before it. In each one, he complained about scheduling, but with no specifics. What has changed with scheduling recently? I know 4 games in 9 days is a lot, but it seems like we've had these stretches in previous years.
We have the exact same 4 game in 9 days as the big little baby has. Have we heard CMP crying about it?I watched Izzo's comments after this game and the Illinois game before it. I couldn't help but think he wasn't whining yesterday so much about the number of games in that timespan as the matchups -- as in both State and Purdue had to play Friday night, but Poor Tom was force-marched to Champaign while the Boilers hosted lowly Nebraska.I watched Izzo's comments after this game and the Illinois game before it. He did drop a message for recruits though, come to MSU and play on boats and on MLK Day, but lose those games.I couldn't help but think he wasn't whining yesterday so much about the number of games in that timespan as the matchups -- as in both State and Purdue had to play Friday night, but Poor Tom was force-marched to Champaign while the Boilers hosted lowly Nebraska.
I am likely reading too much into his remarks, but were I writing a headline for that demonstration it would read IZZO PRESSER: OLD COACH YELLS AT CLOUD

Had someone asked Painter about the 4 in 9, he would have likely gone to one of his stand-by responses like "That's part of it..."
