I recall he had some baggage out of high school. There was some concern he may not make it academically and Purdue didn’t want to tie up a scholarship with a risk he might not make it.

Mostly played on special teams. Good athlete, but always struck me as being too thin to get on the field full time at LB.

Gotta believe he will be going MAC or Similar type league if he wants to get more PT. Good luck to him.
