Question is what will the line be? We were minus 3 at one point at Maryland. Purdue -5 or 6? 82-76 Good guys

Will be interesting to see. Rivalry games are tougher for odds makers too. Lots of emotion and strange things can happen. I will be watching with interest on where it opens.

Decided to listen to the TC show tonight and it basically was all about how can they draw more fouls on the opposition than they have been. TC thinks they are getting screwed this year. He said they need to do a better job of acting to draw the call. Will be interesting this Thursday.
Well, after the Wisky game, Two Tone the Clappin' Tan Man stated as FACT that Wisky was the "most experienced" team in college basketball this season. I'm guessing he doesn't remember 'Nova is as good as it gets with a lot of players back. Virginia has a lot back, Kansas has a lot back.....but to him, it's Wisconsin. So....that being said....I think it's going to be a hell of a game, especially at IU. The real question is will there be enough fans at the game to make enough noise to bother the Boilers. I think Bryant rises to the occasion and plays Swanigan even, IU's guards will outperform Purdue's guards, and that leaves Haas to carry the Black and Gold. Close game....IU in a squeaker as PU has four starters foul out. 67-65.

A win for IU would really help their NIT seeding so I expect to get their very best. I think it goes down to the wire. 85-82 good guys.
I think your post is very accurate. If they win the crean likely saves his job and maybe NCAA tourney hopes. They lose and the entire thing implodes and crean is gone.
Since Feb. 2010 all games but 2 have been blow outs 11+ pts one way or the other.....those close games both were 4 point games. However, since we have demonstrated the slippage to lose to scrub teams this year....I see another head scratcher loss to a scrub team we let play way over their heads.......and another frustrating 4 point loss for the Boilers.
Hope I am wrong and it is another Boiler blowout....as based on teamwork, size, shooting ability, coaching, records and the fact Boilers have shot better on the road....it really should be Boilers by 10+......

I was curious as to what you haters would come up with and now we've seen it all. Sadly, this game will be the superbowl for this poor IU team. I want to say Purdue wins easily, but who knows. Probably the best thing for IU is to lose and further hurt Crean's future. I look for a lot of grandstanding from Tommy to the point of ridiculousness. If Purdue can beat the refs and play solid defense against IU, they steal a close one in ass hall.

I hope and think Purdue has turned a corner this past week with the solid home win vs. a good NW team (without their best player, granted) and then on the road vs. a healthy and hot Maryland team. I could see it going either way, especially with Blackmon back and with his ability to abuse our guards. Overall, we should just have too much talent with their injuries and issues and Swanigan should go off for about 25 and 15:

Well, remember a couple of years back when the cameras caught an overhead view of Crean's huddle and he was coaching them to flop.... so nothing new.

IU will give us one hell of a fight. Blackmon plays. IU gets hot from outside. Haas plays not great "D" in the post, Biggie is Biggie and plays a lot of minutes at 5 and VE, CE have monster games. We squeak out a 62-60 win. And, I'll take it.
Please forward the TC show to the BIG head of officials. Not sure I'd say that publicly.
I would take a one point victory, but I think we will win by 30, like Michigan did last night.
