is that Chad Morris on the front page?

I think the picture is of Skippy Holtz. He is on a BYE this week so I am assuming he may have talked to our administration somewhere.

With Morris, I want to say he was making more $$$ than Hazell at SMU. Again, without a bye week, I cannot see any coach with a job leaving town to interview on a game week.

Chad Morris: $2.5 million per year at SMU

He is making similar money at a non-P5 school. I think SMU was in the same boat as Houston with Tom Herman. They felt they were leaders to join an expanded Big 12 conference and wanted to grab a high quality coach, retain him with money, and make the transition to P5 much easier. With the Big 12 opting not to do so, Houston and SMU may be in line for new coaches very soon...especially given that Houston has lost two games (one being to Chad Morris and SMU). I am not saying that these schools lose their coaches this year but probably soon with the hope of reaching the P5 taken away.
