I have seen a few threads that have brought up the debate of where the Purdue job stands on the hierarchy of jobs. Many people have been outspoken that Purdue is a top 25 job (many saying it is easily top 20). I have also seen many people defending Coach Painter, saying that he is the right guy for this job. So I have two questions:
1) Do you consider Purdue a top 25 job in college basketball?
2) If you answered yes, then I ask you a second question. How many top 25 college jobs/programs in college basketball would stick with the same coach for 17 years that only reached the elite 8 once?
I understand that emotions have ran high on here the last 24 hours. I am sincerely curious what people’s thoughts are and am not trying to start a fight amongst fellow Boilers.
