Last year at this time some were using "gunslinger" to describe Appleby. Appleby is anything but a gunslinger. However he did go through a period prior to getting starting job where he was "reckless".
I don't really think Purdue has had a true gunslinger since Brees. Orton had the ability to be one....but played more of a game manager role.
If Blough is really a gunslinger.... color me excited. Many are described as gunslingers....few actually are gunslingers.
