Is 10 not enough or are we Bo Derek good?

Are we a perfect mix of 10 players for the upcoming season? Are we done looking for front court help?Academics, injuries, disciplinary problems could put a crimp on a promising season. Hate to get in a bind relying on walk-ons to practice against and fill in minutes come league play.

I think 10 is enough but CMP may add more. If you rememberask year we had a 13 man rotation and it was too many and people complained about it on here.

But 10 seems like a good number because barring something major happening, there won't be enough minutes to go around.

10 is fine if we avoid injury/suspension/transfer/foul issues. If we have ten players and one guy is out with an injury and another player gets in foul trouble in a game, you're down to 8 which is less than ideal. We already know Smotherman is going to miss the opener. We should be able to beat that opponent with 9 plus walk-ons but if we are missing players for the better teams on the schedule I think it could prove to be an issue.

There are only a few Bo Derek's and they take up almost all the MAA's each year. They can take a key loss or two from the roster and still be pretty good. The teams bellow them cannot. But that doesn't mean more numbers is the answer. If you have 13 or 15 or 25, none of them past the solid 10 does you much good unless they are high level players you plug in and don't miss a beat.

I'm still hoping they can add one (or two) more players: a big, athletic, explosive scoring guard and a long, athletic, defensive-minded forward/center type (possibly a shot-blocker or a pick-pocket).

However, barring some late transfers or LOI releases, I know it's not likely to happen.
