Interesting stat on seeds in the Final Four...

Over the last five tournaments (2010-2014), there have been more teams in the Final Four seeded 4 and lower (11) than there have been #1 to #3 seeds (9). Also, there have been just four #1 seeds make it over that five year span.

Seed breakdown by years:
2010 - #5, #5, #2, #1
2011 - #11, #8, #4, #3
2012 - #4, #2. #2. #1
2013 - #9, #4, #4, #1
2014 - #8, #7, #2, #1

As many #4 seeds as #1 seeds over that time. As many #8 and lower seeds as #1 seeds over that time. Could probably win some bar bets with that info. So much for chalk.

Purdue fans should remember the #11 seed in 2011. On second thought, they might be trying to forget.
