Louisville's administration and AD is a dumpster fire right now. The President/Provost bailed and went to PSU. Tyra resigned. The interviewer asked Tyra a couple of times about Jeff Brohm. Tyra talked about Jeff Brohm....
"One of the things he mentioned yesterday about coach Satterfield he mentioned as strongly as I would — coach Satterfield is the football coach, and we will support him in what he’s getting done. Jeff Brohm, other great coaches, would love to come to this program. If you asked them all where we are in facilities they would say top of the game. Even (Satterfield) in our meeting said it’s fantastic."
On Jeff Brohm, did you considered hiring him?
"The Brohm family has been friends of mine. But I think it’s this idea that fans find it easy to fire people, but they don’t have the answer of who to hire, and in this one they felt like they did because he’s a local. Based on where the university is going, had that decision come on Scott, which it wasn’t, you do a national search. All due respect to (Brohm), he’s a great coach and has accomplished great things at Purdue, but I think there would’ve been a national search."
