If they win though... Boilers slay their two kryptonite in IU and Rutgers. Team will be riding extremely high in morale rolling into the NCAAT.
Just as our Boilers probably want(ed) revenge vs Rutgers and IU, OSU probably wants the same vs us, after losing the two games this season. They are playing really well now. Just hope fatigue hits them early enough in our game today. Looking forward to watching today’s game with my Purdue brain washed Grandsons, having a nice smoked corned beef luncheon and early Birthday cake. Saturdays in March are the best. Let’s go Boilers!!
Agree with the sentiment here. I won’t worry about IU until OSU is in the rear view mirror. It’s hard to beat a team three times in the same season and OSU has been playing well.
Wasn’t Wisky’s win vs us in the Elite Eight, their first win vs us that season?
Google is our friend. Purdue winning only the first of their 4 meetings that season.
Then don’t lose. I would love for us to be the team that keeps IU & TJD from ever getting a BTT title.

2000 - Wisconsin won 3 of 4, IIRC - split during regular season, lost in the (3)/(6) QF in BTT (Purdue was the 3-seed)......then the capper, lost in the WEST Regional Final as the 6-seed to Wisconsin as the 8-seed.

Exactly. The guys on BTN noted that OSU is the NET #15 team since February 26.
It's been a disjointed season for them to be sure. But they have it in high gear now.
This will be a huge challenge for Purdue. Come in prepared to take their best punch. Play hard and stay focused the entire game. Our guys just might get another shot at Indiana.
Oh it absolutely would. Which is also part of why it won't happen. They aren't good enough to beat this team 3 straight. I'd bet large on that one.
Don't know what statistics say, but mentally it's so hard to beat a team 3 times in a year. JUst seems that Karma and revenge and all that adds up.
Then there's the fact that this is the better team.
Credit Indiana for a furious rally to make that really interesting.....with a little assist from Penn State.....it's tough to finish off games sometimes - not just a Purdue issue.
