Going to fly in late March with a 2 year old. Really hoping the mask mandate on flights, that expires March 18th, at least gets updated so he doesn't have to wear a mask.

We’ve flown several times with a 2 year old who even at 1 looked two. She never wore a mask in the airport and but we put on to board. Soon after it was loosely on or off completely. Similar for our 5 year old but she’s better. Nobody cared. We kept ours on and were always polite to the attendants. Most flight attendants don’t care they just want to get through without issues. Our experiences have been AA and UAL. Also keep your kid on the window and hide them from any Covidian passengers.

We also outwardly have our kids greet the attendants as they board. It’s harder for them to be jerks to you a couple minutes after telling them how cute they are
