To know who Purdue will pick up in the off season. Anyone else? With the early post season exit I'm ready.
I'm guessing a 5th year senior or 2. If a good transfer were available, I could see that also.To know who Purdue will pick up in the off season. Anyone else? With the early post season exit I'm ready.
I'm guessing that they are checking out grad transfer possibilities before making decisions on additional incoming freshmen. They also need to let the Stephens situation play out since they left the door open for him to come back.
Happened to hear the coach of John A Logan College in Carterville, IL on the local ESPN affiliate this AM discussing a guard named Devontavious Payne. Kid is local from Carbondale and has played two years. Had looks from several schools including N Iowa and GA Tech but without saying so in so many words seemed to think the interest was maybe a little stronger from Purdue who had been in to work him out recently. Said most of the MVC schools were familiar but had stopped recruiting him because the felt he was destined for a major school and didn't want to put in the effort on someone they couldn't sign. http://thesouthern.com/sports/colle...cle_42322607-85d2-5c1e-88a4-f894c0b871ad.html
I may be reading this wrong but if he has graduated from high school and is in Junior college, why would he be a 2018 recruit?
I've seen 6'1" or 6'2" and 180. Doesn't really matter about the 1" as long as it's in that neighborhood. I caught the end of the conversation and didn't get a chance to call in but I'll ask more about him this week. I know John A runs a very fast paced offence and are traditionally among the better JCs in the midwest.you are correct. graduated high school in 2014. Just finished Soph year of JUCO. University of Cincy has already offered. Shooting guard. Can get to rim as well. but six foot 1. i still like it......
