This is the difference between a forward thinking and proactive AD like Whitman and what we came to expect here at Purdue under Burke. Hoping that Bobinski, who seems more akin to refining what we already have at Purdue, can make the needed changes to push the department forward.

Whitman is a great hire. He is highly intelligent while highly grounded. He is tough, loves U of Illinois, loves football, and has highly intelligent parents and in-laws who provide solid advice when needed. A package that is hard to find these days.
