In most cases, it is a tool for the weak minded. Not sure if I have ever used it. I'm secure enough in my thoughts to have them challenged. Sometimes I change my point of view or learn something new by reading people I rarely agree with.

I have ignored a few, but it's not those I simply disagree with. It's those who ONLY post to call someone a name or swear at someone they disagree with and never offer up reasonable thoughts or rationale on anything.
