I will admit, after the Gardner-Webb game, I was in favor of, down the road, firing Matt Painter. Obviously right now there is too much money tied to him to realistically consider that, but I was, at that point, ready to move on. I was thinking about Martin and Lavin. Thinking about hiring an outside guy. Thinking about the future of Purdue Basketball.

Painter is the front-runner for Big Ten Coach of the Year, no one else is close besides Bo Ryan who should really win it almost every year, and I was wrong. All you others need to step up and eat your crow, like I alongside you.
